It's Almost Vacation Time!!!

Oh my gosh, I can't believe we leave for our trip next week! It is sneaking up on me too quickly. I'm trying to get the laundry done, so I can start packing.

We leave on Thursday the 31st out of San Francisco and fly to Dublin, Ireland. The next day, we fly over to the Isle of Man and will stay with our friends, the Brittons, for about a week and a half (Oh, they will get so sick of us). We'll fly back to Dublin and spend a few days in Ireland before we come home on June 14. It's going to be such a great trip! I'm just not looking forward to the plane rides (Yuck!). I can already hear my kids..."How much longer?"

I made something for the Brittons to thank them for their hospitality, but I can't post a picture because they might read this before our trip!

So, instead I'll post a picture of some baby "boots" I made for the psychologist at the school. She's having a baby any day now, but doesn't know the sex yet. I played it safe and went with green. I actually used two different patterns to create these, so they're kinda a one-of-a-kind creation! I had never made booties before, so it was fun to make these. I need to write out my own pattern for these, so I can make them again. Maybe when I get a little better at knitting, I can figure out how to make some in my size!

Well, just in case I don't get a chance to post again before our trip, I'll say "goodbye" now! After we get back, I'll be sure to tell you all about our trip and post lots of pictures. Until then...
